Senior Corporate Finance Analyst

As a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst, you’ll contribute to Rain’s exponential growth by providing the essential information that our Leadership team needs to drive strategic decisions.

 

Key job responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the main financial model, used for investor reporting, internal target setting, budget control and cash forecasting.
  • Own and control company budgets, reporting to leadership and budget owners on deviations, opportunities and risks.
  • Maintain and improve cash forecasting capabilities to ensure we have an accurate cash runway estimate.
  • Analyze data to ensure reporting accuracy, and share financial analysis with business partners to support strategic business decisions
  • Preparing financial planning data and reviewing data integrity, analyze discrepancies and strive to correct
  • Providing ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to evaluate new partnerships, products or business models.
  • Track, report, analyze and forecast cash. Understand variances and provide insights to leadership on potential opportunities or risks.
  • Understanding financial statements and providing feedback and support to the Accounting team on topics such as accruals, department and account allocation of costs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to respond to recurring investor and board members queries, as well as supporting fundraising activities.
 

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A Consulting or corporate finance role at a top tech company
  • Expert level Excel financial modeling skills
  • Strong accounting knowledge in order to easily understand financial statements and accounting impacts..
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, you will need to collaborate with team leaders and other colleagues across every department at Rain.
  • Self initiative and willingness to improve processes and get things done independently. We are growing really fast and are looking for someone who is eager to come up with their own ideas to help us achieve our goals.

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: $150,000

Maximum: $170,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors.
