About Rain
Rain is the fastest-growing earned wage access (EWA) fintech in the U.S. We serve 2.5 million employees and are backed by top investors like QED and Prosus. We have raised nearly $400M in funding, including the largest Series A in fintech history, and recently closed our Series B to fuel our next stage of hypergrowth.
Our platform helps people avoid unnecessary financial stress while helping employers boost retention, productivity, and employee well-being. We're driving a movement toward financial freedom, and we are just getting started.
About the Product Team
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives within Rain’s growing financial services platform—including new products that expand beyond earned wage access, such as rent smoothing, cash-flow tools, and financial health products.
This role will be responsible for driving product vision, strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment for high-impact features from discovery through launch and scale. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data, operations, and risk/underwriting to build products that are financially sound, user-friendly, and compliant.
This is a rare opportunity to build meaningful consumer fintech—at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own the product lifecycle from ideation and roadmapping to launch and scaling
- Drive cross-functional execution with engineering, design, risk, and marketing teams
- Define OKRs and success metrics to align product goals with company strategy
- Translate complex requirements into clear documentation for engineering and design
- Model product economics in partnership with data science to manage fraud and loss rates
- Lead discovery and experimentation to iterate on prototypes and new features
- Communicate updates and risks directly to executive leadership
Who You Are
- You have at least 5 years in Product Management, specifically within fintech or financial services
- You are a full-stack owner capable of running entire workstreams, not just features
- You are a data-proficient thinker who uses SQL, Looker, or Grafana to drive decisions
- You are a strategic & tactical expert who thrives in structured ambiguity
- Effective Influencer across both technical and business domains
- Proven track record of shipping high-impact, consumer-facing products
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Credit risk, underwriting, or payment rails (ACH, bank connectivity)
- Financial Ops: Familiarity with compliance, financial operations, and risk modeling
- Business Models: Experience with marketplace or B2B2C products
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL and data visualization
Compensation
$175,000 - $190,000
Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
